This evening celebrates the evolving art of fusion bellydance — where tradition meets experimentation and boundaries dissolve. Throughout the night, dancers will weave bellydance with diverse movement languages including waacking, vogue, capoeira, breaking, hip hop, house dance, and more. But this show is more than a dance performance. It is an exploration of deeply human experiences. Through movement, the artists will touch on themes such as motherhood, childhood trauma, identity, healing, and personal transformation. These are stories we all carry — stories that become visible through the body.
We have invited dancers who challenge conventions and redefine what fusion bellydance can be. Artists who dare to question the status quo, push artistic boundaries, and bring their authentic voices to the stage. Their courage and creativity are an inspiration, reminding us that art has the power to shift perspectives and spark change.
A very special guest of the evening is Piny Orchidaceae, an internationally recognized performer known for her distinctive artistic voice, powerful stage presence, and fearless approach to fusion bellydance. Her work blends technical mastery with emotional depth, making her performances both visually striking and deeply moving.
